Very rare original 1872 book by the title "Shelby's Expedition to Mexica; an unwritten leaf of the war" about the migration of Civil War Confederates to Mexico. The book comprised of 138 numbered pages was written by John Edwards.

I could not locate any other original examples of this book having been offered for sale. Only contemporary reprints are available.

The book is in good over-all condition although the binding appears to have been replaced by a lined paper binding.
