12 Vtg Lillian Vernon Wood Rattan 2" Ball Ornaments Open & Close Hide Gifts Xmas

A rare find!! These balls measure just over 2" diameter and were made by Lillian Vernon likely in the 70's or 80's. The outside of the balls are constructed of stained strips of light wood and they are all a different design. They all come open to hide small gifts like candy, jewelry or money. The insides are lined with a red silk material. Some of the balls show minor wear at the opening line where is looks like the wood has chipped. All of the balls open and close well. They all have a gold loop for hanging. They come in their original storage box which is in good condition as well.
