This is issue 23, August 1982, of Different Worlds magazine. Different Worlds was published by Chaosium. The magazine contained articles and reviews of books, films, and roleplaying games. This issue concentrated on superheroes and features articles for Superhero 2044, Villains & Vigilantes, Supergame, Champions, and Superworld. There are also game characteristics for the X-Men for both Champions and Superworld, and cover art by Bill Willingham.
