International Orders Welcome

Built for serious distance work, the Taurus Gen II pairs a wide 5–30× zoom with a big 56 mm objective for confident shots in changing light.

The MPX1 reticle sits in the first focal plane, so holdovers and wind calls stay true at every magnification.

The illuminated centre adds crisp contrast not just at dawn and dusk but also when you’re aiming into shadow or at dark targets where a plain black reticle can disappear. Note that as it is a 0.1 mil dot (very small) it is not daylight bright. Only for lower light or daylight but aiming at a dark background.

Zero-stop, turret lock, and tactile 0.1 mil clicks make dialing fast, accurate, and repeatable.

Side-focus parallax delivers a sharp, parallax-free image from 20 yards to true long-range.

Buyer Questions Answered

Q: Why choose FFP on a 5–30×?
A: In FFP the reticle scales with magnification, so the mil hash marks are always accurate for holds—no “set power” needed.

Q: Does illumination help in daylight?
A: Yes. Beyond low light, illumination stops the centre from blending into black-on-black or heavy shade, speeding up precise placement. But at 0.1 mil it is NOT a daylight bright dot you can use like you might a fiber dot or red dot type illumination.

Q: Can I rely on the turrets for regular dialing?
A: Absolutely. With 0.1 mil clicks, turret lock, and a zero-stop, you can dial confidently and return to your zero without counting turns.

Q: How close will it focus?
A: Side-focus parallax runs from close-range practice distances out to infinity, keeping the image crisp and the reticle true.

Q: Is the adjustment range enough for long range?
A: Yes—the scope provides generous elevation travel for stretching distance without running out of clicks.

Q: Will it handle recoil and weather?
A: The one-piece aluminium body is sealed and shock tested for dependable performance in the field.

Q: Will the 30 mm tube give enough light for 30× magnification?
A: Combined with the large 56 mm objective, the 30 mm tube provides good light transmission. At higher zooms, image brightness is lower, but the bigger objective keeps the view usable in most conditions.

Q: What’s the eye relief like across the zoom range?
A: The Taurus Gen II offers consistent, comfortable eye relief across its magnification range, reducing eye strain during long sessions.

Q: Is this scope suitable for long-range hunting as well as target shooting?
A: Yes—its FFP reticle, illumination, and rugged build make it versatile for precision hunting and distance work.

Q: Does the large 56 mm objective require special rings?
A: Yes—you’ll need high 30 mm rings (or a 30 mm mount) to provide clearance for the big objective bell.

Q: How does it compare to second focal plane (SFP) scopes at this magnification?
A: Unlike SFP, where hash marks only match at one power, FFP ensures mil values are correct at all zoom levels—critical for consistent long-range holds.

Is there a warranty?
Yes — backed by Vectors VIP no time limit warranty for total peace of mind.
