This 1961 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL, FRANKLIN MINT (1989)  LT. BLUE, SUICIDE DOORS, 1/43 belonged to my father-in-law.  He ordered it around 1989 and has been boxed for almost 36 years.  This is like going back in time to 1989.  It has never been taken out of box except for these photos to be taken.  This is as mint as you are going to find today.  Comes with original box and all paperwork as when it was purchased.  It has an opening hood with detailed engine, along with a beautiful detailed dashboard.  Four opening doors, two of which are the rare suicide-doors.  This was a rare 1/43rd scale series that had a small production run.  Chrome, paint, windshield etc. are in mint condition (see photos.  This will give you goose-bumps when opening this box.  This is the best of the best.  It will be shipped in another box to protect the original Franklin Mint box as much as possible.  The first 11 photos were taken with led lighting.  The color of blue on the car is more accurate with this type of lighting.  The last 6 photos were taken under a different type of lighting to show more detail in dark areas like the dashboard.  This particular car has never been displayed.  I will pay for the additional insurance coverage if damaged or lost.
