Rare authentic heavy velvet Soviet ceremonial banner from the Ukrainian SSR (Soviet Socialist Republic of Ukraine).

✅ Portrait: bust of Vladimir Lenin with laurel wreath and wheat sheaves

✅ Text translation: 

• Top: “Proletarians of all countries, unite!” 

• Bottom: “Under the banner of Marxism–Leninism, under the leadership of the Communist Party – forward to the victory of Communism!”

These large velvet banners were never owned by private citizens – they were official ceremonial flags of factories, schools, enterprises, collective farms, and institutions in the Soviet Union. Used at parades, political meetings, and state ceremonies.
