About the meteoriter
1.The Muonionalusta was first found in Kiruna Norrbotten Sweden in 1906. It is a fine octahedrite. There have been many more pieces found in recent times. The Muonionalusta is very hard to cut and usually only comes in very large pieces.
2.Sericho pallasite was firstly found in Habaswwein?Kenya in 2016 by two brothers when they were actually searching for their camels. They spent several weeks collecting them with engine hoists and moving them to their homes in Habaswein. Though recognized as meteorites in 2016, the masses had been known to camel-herders for decades. One village elder said that as a child, he and his brothers would play on top of the stones. Until quite some time later, people from all over the world began to realize it is pallasite meteorite with beautiful cosmos olivines inside, as more and more people buy and like this kind of special cosmic gems, the price is steady rising for recent years.
