Do not boil water. If left empty in the pot, the enamel may peel off, so do not use it over an open flame. Do not use in a microwave, dishwasher, or dryer.
Scrubbing the surface too hard may cause discoloration, so wipe it lightly dry after use. Be sure to wipe off any moisture from small areas such as the spout and handle. Also, do not place it near a stove, as oil stains will be difficult to remove if they form on the surface. Remove any moisture on the exterior surface by lightly pressing the surface with kitchen paper or a cloth, without rubbing.
