Vertical Counter-Pressure Retort

The vertical counter-pressure retort is a small-to-medium-sized sterilization device controlled by a microcomputer program. The sterilizer uses electric heating to directly inject water into the sterilization chamber, where it is heated to produce high-pressure steam required for sterilization. This steam is used to sterilize items that need to be sterilized. After the sterilization process is completed, the items inside the chamber are rapidly cooled within 3 minutes using externally connected compressed air and water pressure, bringing the temperature of the items down to 30–40°C.

The sterilizer is equipped with a programmable control system that allows it to operate in two modes:

Boiling disinfection: Set at a temperature of ≤100°C.
Rapid cooling pressure sterilization: With a preselected temperature range of 105–134°C.
Additionally, the sterilizer features overload protection for the heater and an audible alarm to signal the end of the sterilization cycle. It is designed for easy operation and reliable performance.

This product is suitable for the disinfection and sterilization of items such as food packaging, containers, instruments, and equipment. It is particularly well-suited as an ideal device for food research institutions conducting sterility tests.

• Equipped with an immersed electric heating tube, it has the function of preventing dry burning. When the water level is lower than the specified water level, the sterilizer will automatically cut off the heating power supply and emit an alarm signal at the same time.

• This product is equipped with a safety valve, which has a dual safety protection of automatic pressure relief when the steam pressure exceeds 0.25MPa and automatic power cut-off when the temperature exceeds 140°C. It also has safety interlock device protection for water cut-off overheating protection and automatic power cut-off due to current overload, ensuring safe and reliable use.
