A superb matched pair of very finely hand-potted Copper/Gold lustre goblets some 4.5" high and in completely undamaged condition.
I bought these in the 1980's when lustres were highly collectable and recall they were rather expensive then.
They have spent the last 40 years safely tucked away in a display cabinet. But a few months back we moved to a much smaller place and I have nowhere to display them so, time to pass them on to another appreciative owner.
As you can see in the pics, they are decorated with an approx. 1" band of what I initially thought was a transfer. But, on closer inspection the white figuring has been hand applied and there are small detail differences between the two although the basic design looks the same at first glance. What a laborious task that must have been for the paintresses!
A real top quality pair. No maker's name but undoubtedly of Staffordshire origin.
Note: Postage quoted is for Royal Mail Small Packet Rate at cost. They will be well-wrapped for the journey.
