Product Description

Tokoname ware is a traditional Japanese pottery made in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.

It is made mainly from red clay and fired at high temperatures, giving it a unique texture.

It is characterized by its simple and practical design and is widely used as tableware and tea ceremony utensils. 

It has a long history, and even today many craftsmen are creating new pieces while preserving the traditions.

 



■The entire teapot is made of ceramic. It features a ceramic tea strainer that can extract the flavor of the tea.

■The capacity is for 2-3 people (100ml per person)

■Made of porcelain clay, coated with decorative clay and fired at 1200 degrees. The material does not contain any harmful substances.

■The surface is decorated with a traditional Tobi-Kanna pattern on a potter's wheel.

■The lid and body are ground together to make a pair. As a result, there are polishing marks on the lid and body.
