It is not compatible with the North American version of the NES.

United States Shipments (Important)
For items valued at USD 2500 or less, all shipments to the United States are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).
This means that import duties, taxes, and courier handling fees are included in the item price / shipping cost.
For items valued above USD 2500, shipments are sent Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).
In this case, the buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes, and any customs clearance fees charged upon delivery.
