Realizzato per soddisfare le esigenze dei migliori rider, con il peso più basso possibile, X0 è l’evoluzione del precedente gruppo X01 Eagle AXS. Il nuovo cambio posteriore è più resistente grazie alla nuova interfaccia senza forcellino.
Progettato come componente integrato e interdipendente, il cambio T-Type si monta intorno allo stesso asse della ruota, in contatto diretto con la cassetta e con un'interfaccia senza forcellino.
Sparisce quindi il forcellino tradizionale e ci si avvale di un nuovo sistema di montaggio “Full Mount”: questo permette di avere una connessione molto più robusta, che fa presa su entrambi le parti del telaio.

- Assenza di viti per la regolazione delle battute, modifica la sua posizione in fase di cambiata per assecondare l'allineamento della catena
