A native of San Pedro De Macoris in the Dominican Republic, Elian Herrera was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2003 by the Los 

Angeles Dodgers, reaching the Major Leagues with that team in 2012.. He subsequently played in the Major Leagues for the Milwaukee Brewers, in the Japanese Central League and for the Mexico City Red Devils of the Mexican League. 

Herrera used this bat in the Dominican Winter League in 2010, and with the Chattanooga Lookouts in 2011. I obtained the bat from a team source in Chattanooga, and Elian signed it for me on July 7, 2012 at Chase Field in Phoenix when he was up with the Major League Dodgers. .
