Antique VTG Victorian Sterling Silver Ornate Cravat Scarf Pin Brooch 13 Grams

An antique sterling cravat or scarf pin. 

The front of the pin has a lovely design running the entire front surface.

The bowed-out shape would accept a thicker bunch of material while the spike would 

have been meant to anchor a large knot on a cravat or ascot style tie.

The pin is hallmarked inside but the hallmarks are hard to read. 

The pin is also stamped sterling. It has a C clasp. 

 Approx. 3" long. x 1/2" wide x 3/4" high. Weighs 13 grams.

In good used antique wearable condition- fine surface scratches and 

patina on the metal. Back pin and spike have bends.
