The Gene Autry “Always Your Pal" watch is a highly collectible “character watch”, complete with original pigskin “western” band (complete with embossed buckle and end piece). This timepiece is in remarkable, original condition with a pristine crystal, bezel with no visible scratch marks, and back plate with embossed Gene Autry signature and trademark phase, “Always Your Pal”.

Seconds are ticked off via a “shooting gun” that moves up and down (see video). It’s mesmerizing to look at. This watch is currently in working condition and keeps time but will sometime stop, then start again. It can use a good cleaning /lubrication since it was an attic find, stored for many years. 

Gene Autry was “America’s Favorite Cowboy”. He had a long and successful career as a radio and movie star, a singer and composer, a patriot and veteran, and a huge baseball fan (he was the owner of the Los Angeles Angels).

This “Six-Shooter” Gene Autry watch comes from a time when radio and TV cowboys were America’s heroes. It is an extremely hard-to-find collectible today.
