Chagall's Jerusalem Windows at Abbell Synagogue ~ The Twelve Tribes

The windows symbolize the twelve tribes of Israel who were blessed by Jacob and Moses in the verses which conclude Genesis and Deuteronomy.  

For each window, Chagall drew a first sketch, a preparatory drawing, a color sketch, a small model and a final model.

Good condition ~ Pulled from book and sleeved 12/21/2023 ~ Perforation marks on top or side.
