The HealthWay® Deluxe air filtration system is a portable, efficient and easy to maintain system using DFS technology and a 9 stage filter to clean the air for an area up to 1,200 sq ft. Our products are tested to meet or exceed the HEPA industry standard (99.97% at 0.3 micron). Our Deluxe model comes with a heavy-duty commercial-grade gas and odor filter which eliminates most gases and the proprietary DFS technology can remove harmful viruses, mold, and bacteria, leaving nothing but fresh, pure, healthy air in your space.
Included Filters:
I cannot vouch for the included filters at all. They seem to me to be fully functional and I've serviced them as instructed by the manufacturer, but I don't know how much they were used, for how long or if they're still functional. When I received the machine, both filter indicators showed they needed to be replaced but from what I understand the indicators are crudely based on the passage of time and may be difficult for users to reset, thus its possible the original user replaced them diligently but never rest the sensors and thus these filters have a lot of life left, and it's also possible these were the originally included filters from the manufacturer and were used well-beyond the recommended time period.
New filters for this machine are expensive, ~$169 for the main filter (replaced once a year) and ~$99 for the pre-filter (which are meant to be replaced twice a year), thus making total yearly filter-cost ~$369 or $30.75 a month.
