This antique cranberry glass hand-blown salt cellar, attributed to Moser, is a beautifully hand-painted and hand-enamelled piece from the Victorian era. Crafted in Czechoslovakia in the year 1900, this round open salt features a glossy finish and measures 3 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches in height. The intricate design and unique craftsmanship make this a sought-after collectible for those interested in vintage kitchen decor and glassware. The thing that distinguishes this item from the well copied bohemian versions is that this one has a nicely handblown base that is attached to the handblown ruby top portion of the salt. The later copied versions were produced entirely of a solid or attached ruby or all green glass. This particular salt can be found in the open salt compendium a Schiffer book on page 79. Thank you. There are no damages to this piece. This salt has a gold rim that has kept its integrity through the century. It has no scratches no chips, cracks or anything worth remarking upon just a beautiful piece. Thank you.
