This listing has been created for an owner of multiple Klispch KDA-500 and KDA-1000 amplifiers, which have developed a typical failure due to a weak capacitor. I usually would do the repair, but a DIY kit was requested. The kit is an upgraded Panasonic FR type low-ESR replacement with the same capacitance but with improved quality and durability, while still fitting in the original location and having correct lead spacing for the circuit board. Additional photos will be provided with purchase to identify which internal screws to remove to access the bottom of the board to desolder the old capacitor and install the new. Be sure to observe correct polarity when installing electrolytic capacitors. A length of Kester solder will also be provided.

A desoldering tool or method and a soldering pencil are required.

Contact me if you would like to have me do the capacitor replacement.
