This is an antique or vintage hand painted Pennsylvania Dutch metal pot, planter or other container.

I am uncertain as to exactly how old this is, but it definitely has good age.

It measures 3 1/4 inches tall x 9 1/2 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches long (8.2 cm, 24.1 cm, 14.6 cm).

The piece has a ring at one end. I’m wondering if this wasn’t meant to hang on the wall to be used for baking. I initially thought it was some type of a planter due to the rusting inside.

There are some light scattered wear to the painted surface. The bottom though is very scratched up. Even though the interior has quite a bit of rust, it is very sturdy.

You can see that the person who painted this was very talented as it just has a great feeling about it.

It weighs a little under 1 pound (446 g).
