Record Grading System

Mint (M):

Represents a record that is in pristine condition, likely never played, and with no signs of wear or damage. 

Near Mint (NM or M-):

A very good grade, meaning the record has been played sparingly and shows minimal signs of wear, like possible tiny scuffs. It should play perfectly with no noticeable imperfections. 

Excellent (EX):

A good grade that indicates the record has been played a few times and may have some minor wear or very faint scuffs, but no significant issues. 

Very Good Plus (VG+):

The record may have some visible signs of wear or minor scratches, but it should play well with minimal surface noise. 

Very Good (VG):

The record has more obvious signs of wear, like scratches and groove wear, and may have some audible surface noise, especially during quieter passages. 

Good (G):

A record in this condition may have more noticeable wear and tear, including scratches and surface noise, but it should still be playable.
