Two Command Magazines, each with two near mint unpunched games.
First is Command issue #40. This is from November of 1996. The magazine has been read, but shows little wear. But the game supplement is near excellent. There are two wargames in this issue. The first is "The Battle of Buena Vista" from the Mexican-American war of 1847. The map and counters are in near mint condition. The second game is "Moscow Burning". A theoretical game of a possible new Russian Civil War. This game, and its counters and map, is also in near mint condition.
Second is Command issue #44 from August of 1997. This magazine has some wear from reading but is in otherwise very good condition. The game supplement is in excellent condition. There are two games in this issue as well. They are "Dark Victory", which covers the Battle of the Alamo. The map and the counters of this game are in near mint condition. The second game is "Second Front Now" which explores the what-if had the Allies tried to invade Northern Europe in 1943. This game, map and counters, are also in near mint condition.
The Mexican-American War has very few games covering it. I am not aware of any games covering the Battle for the Alamo. So these are some rare treatments of this aspect of American history. While the magazines have some very minor reading wear to them everything else here is in near mint condition. These are very definitely collectables.
I will ship these free to anywhere within the contiguous US.
