Atari 2600/7800
Multi Cartridge
Powered by the Raspberry Pi Pico
Introducing the Atari 2600/7800
Dual Ender Multi Cartridge
By Aotta
An all-in-one cartridge that will hold your favorite games on one cartridge.
Works like a flash drive, simply plug it into your computer with a USB-C cable
and drag and drop all your favorite ROMs onto it.
Works with both the Atari 2600 and 7800 consoles.
Will NOT work with the newer 2600/7800 + versions.
Here's how it works: connect the cartridge to your computer and then
drag and drop your ROMs onto the cartridge, with the 7800 game console off,
inert in your A10400 7800 end in and the switch on the cartridge, power on the console.
You should then see your list of games. Select the game you wish to play (press fire) and then switch the console off and then back on. The game you selected should load.
You can now turn off the cartridge if you want. To load a new game, switch off the
console and press the reset button on the cartridge.
Switch the console back on and you should see the menu.
For the 2600, drag on drop your games the same as for the 7800. With the 2600 off, insert you A10400 2600 end into your 2600 console. Switch on the cartridge and then power on the console. You should see your game menu. Select the game you wish to play and press the fire button on your controller. The game should load and you may have to press the reset button on the console.
To load a new game, switch off the console and press the reset button, switch the console back on you should again see your menu.

Uses a CR2302 rechargeable or non-chargeable (included) battery and a
3/16th allen wrench (not included) or later versions use a Phillips screw.
Access to the USB port inside is accessible through the 2600 end
but kinda deep and tricky to reach to connect a USB cable. I was able to do so no problem.
Be very careful and patient when doing this.
The cartridge case is a custom 3d printed case that I print from the included STL file
and it's not an exact OEM case from the manufacture. It requires a bit
more care when inserting into the consoles.
Compatibility with all games cannot be guaranteed.
It's a bit of an odd duck to use. Basic use instructions are available for download
There may be a few random ROMs included on it that were used for testing after assembly and not all will necessarily work or run.
It's on you, the user to load and manage your ROMs.
Do not plug into your computer while inserted in the console and
be sure the cartridge itself is powered off when plugged into your computer.
Be sure to turn off the cartridge when not in use, it will drain the battery.
More info can be found by searching "Atari A10400" or "Aotta on Github".
This Cartridge listed is Black, Red and Green version.
I reserve the right to switch up colors, so the cartridge listed
may not be the exact color you receive.
