Due to the vast number of enquiries about using the scabies
products for children, we have put together a pack of 100mls each of pure
sunflower oil and lotion base for you to dilute the products down for your
little ones. In this pack you will find:
All the products are adult dilution, so for children or babies then this is the
advice we give:
Apply a small amount on your fingertip and apply to a small
area on your child (ideally the forearm or back of knee). If there is no
reaction (redness or itching) after about 10 minutes, then you are okay to go
ahead if there is a reaction you will need to dilute down. In a bowl add 1
teaspoon of Advanced Scabies Oil and 1 teaspoon of pure sunflower oil. Mix well
and re-apply a small amount. If no reaction, then you can use this; if there is
a reaction you will need to add 1 more teaspoon of sunflower oil. Keep a note
of the recipe.
Same method with the Advanced Scabies Lotion. Check the if original product is
okay and if there is a reaction add 1 teaspoon of the Advanced Scabies Lotion
to a bowl and 1 teaspoon of the plain lotion. Mix and apply a small amount. Do
this until you find the right combination and once again keep a note of the
dilution so you can make more if needed.
For the Bath Soak, start with 2mls per bath and work up to 5mls per bath for
children.
Also note that sensitivities can vary from one individual to
another, so if you have more than one child then run the test for each child to
arrive at the correct dilution for each child. Any questions please do not
