The Samsung SC-MX20B/XAA was released around October 2008. It was part of Samsung’s lineup of standard-definition camcorders aimed at budget-conscious consumers. As for its origin, Samsung is a South Korean company, and most of its electronics, including camcorders, are typically manufactured in South Korea. This Camcorder shows it was assembled in China, so I believe that all of the parts were made in South Korea, but I could only select China. The camcorder uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, providing approximately 2-3 hours of recording time per charge, this listing come with one, but it needs to be charged to see if it works (we have no way of charging it). Uses SD cards and is compatible with Multimedia Card Plus (MMC plus) memory cards for storage. It has a 2.7-inch LCD screen with rotating display for flexible viewing. This listing was previously owned and used. We only received the camcorder, rechargeable battery pack with no charger, adapter for a tripod that has cracks on top & piece missing, but it still attaches to the camcorder ok. and a camera bag. No original packaging or box, no power adapter of charging cable or charger, no audio/video cable, no USB cable and no manual or anything else that might have come with it. It could not be tested without a useable battery or power source. It looks to be in very good condition and the lens looks good; the only issue I found was the strap. I took a picture of a paper towel with the side of the strap that has black stuff coming off on the towel and even my hands. Before a vacuumed the strap it was a lot worse than what the paper towel shows now. I included a photo of the what the buttons are on the camcorder. Please look carefully at all photos for this listing is sold as is. Your purchase will help the blind community in our area. Thank you for supporting the Blind Community Thrift Store
