NEW LASER, LASER RIBBON, AND NEW CMOS BATTERY INSTALLED in each console!!!! 

• Each console will have a new laser, ribbon, and CMOS battery installed (Panasonic Coin Battery as OEM recommended by Sony, Rome Tech or other major brand for wrapped CMOS battery) at a minimum.  Spindles are inspected for damage and replaced if necessary.  Excessively noisy worm motors are also replaced. 

This item has been professionally refurbished that includes a complete disassembly and cleaning.  Below are the steps performed to make sure this device is ready for sale and will have a long life:

System Maintenance:

•  Case hand washed

•  Internal components deep cleaned with air and/or isopropyl alcohol.

•  CR2032 battery for real time clock replaced if not keeping correct time.

•  Thermal pads for driver/regulator inspected and replaced if necessary.

•  Main processor thermal pad(s) replaced if necessary

•  Mainboard fuses checked for continuity

•  Optical laser cleaned or replaced if not able to read all discs.

•  Optical laser rail lubricated.

•  Optical laser teeth inspected and replaced if worn.

•  CPU fan is disassembled and cleaned of dirt and debris.

• Power Port is inspected for damage and resoldered if necessary.

    • System clock set to current date and time

    • System clock preserved after AC power is removed

    • Composite video output

    • Two different PlayStation 2 CD games (blue CDs - Midnight Club Street Racing & State of          Emergency by Rockstar Games)

    • Two different PlayStation 2 DVD-5 games (silver single layer DVDs - Grand Theft Auto 3 & Kingdom Hearts)

    • Two different PlayStation 2 DVD-9 games (gold dual layer DVDs - Gran Turismo 4 & God of War)

    • No stuttering observed during data streaming (e.g. video playback)

    • Memory card slots

    • Controller ports

    • Controller vibration (system side)
