The Bullfighter Dies © 2025 by Larry Torro 19" x 13" Uncut Artist Signed Print

World famed painter/artist/animal-rights activist, Larry Torro (A.K.A. Rubber Larry), has released some of his extraordinary and cathartic images for signed prints! This rare 19" x 13"  artist signed print of The Bullfighter Dies has certainly become one of the most iconic animal rights artworks ever since the original painting was released in 2011, and you can now own this artist hand-signed print to state your position in your home gallery or office!

The graphic fantasy image, a bull about to impale the matador, was taken down from social media several times. Yet, it garnered tens of millions of views resulting in much controversy, countless tattoos, prints and specialized clothing thanks to PETA and singer/artist Morrissey displaying the image on stage during his 2014 world tour, thus identifying the image with his song "The Bullfighter Dies". To honor Morrissey, Larry amended his original title of the painting to The Bullfighter Dies. In a written statement by Torro, "This would not be the iconic piece that it is if not for PETA tenacity and unstoppable passion and compassion. They are relentless and fight like hell for the well being of animals. It was PETA who brought Morrissey and the painting together, and it was Morrissey who made it indelible by marrying it with beautiful music". Also known as the renegade pop artist Rubber Larry, Torro originally intended the painting to be a kind of flag to hang in public. One plan was to gate-crash a bullfight arena and hang the image in plain view!

This piece is printed on heavy semi-gloss stock paper. It has Larry Torro’s signature printed twice, once on the art, another on the outer portions, and actually signed by Larry Torro in white ink.
