ENCO 50639, Lathe Turret 4” Indexing Tool Post Holder 4 WAY

This turret is suitable for lathe's with swings 13 inches to 20 inches. It will hold 3/4 inch tools and you'll be amazed how much work it can do.

The turret is hardened & tempered in excellent working condition,

To make a quick T slot, cut a 4" long x (thickness of choice) piece of flat iron & then drill & tap into its center a 3/4" x 16 TPI (UNF). Fashion a correct height piece of 3/4" x 16 threaded stock. Attach the threaded stock & weld it in place. Slide it into your compound's slot, set the turret holder in place, add a washer & nut & snug. The turret then rotates by opening the operator handle, position as needed & then close the handle. With some practice you can rotate in or out a half dozen tools.
