Oil leakage from the oil filter housing gasket is common on 1992-2005 6-cylinder models. 
This shaped gasket is used to seal the housing-to-block connection, but it shrinks and hardens with prolonged use, causing the seal to fail and oil leakage to begin.

Repair Recommendation:
Since replacing the gasket requires disassembly of peripheral components (e.g., belts, tensioners, VANOS oil lines, alternator, etc.), it is recommended that the operation be synchronized with regular maintenance to save labor costs.
