Jacqueline et Bernard Courcoul sont un couple de céramistes français établis à Chambon, en Touraine, depuis 1967. Leur atelier, la Poterie de Chambon, est reconnu pour ses créations en grès et porcelaine, mêlant techniques traditionnelles et expressions contemporaines. Leur production se distingue par des formes sculpturales audacieuses et des émaux aux teintes subtiles, souvent enrichis de rehauts métalliques. Leur démarche artistique, ancrée dans une éthique humaniste, vise à transcender la fonction utilitaire de l'objet pour en faire une œuvre d'art à part entière. Leur travail a été exposé dans des manifestations majeures de la céramique contemporaine, notamment au Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris en 1981-82. Bernard Courcoul a également publié un ouvrage intitulé « Une vie de potiers, une passion poétique », retraçant leur parcours artistique et philosophique.

Jacqueline and Bernard Courcoul are a French ceramicist couple based in Chambon, Touraine, since 1967. Their workshop, the Poterie de Chambon, is renowned for its stoneware and porcelain creations, blending traditional techniques with contemporary expressions. Their work stands out for its bold sculptural forms and subtly tinted glazes, often enriched with metallic highlights. Their artistic approach, rooted in a humanistic ethic, aims to transcend the utilitarian function of the object to create a true work of art. Their pieces have been exhibited at major contemporary ceramics events, notably at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1981-82. Bernard Courcoul also published a book entitled "A Life of Potters, a Poetic Passion," tracing their artistic and philosophical journey.
