This listing is for an awesome DVD of Game 4 of the 1993 Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks. The Knicks had just finished their first 60-win season since 1970, and enthusiasm was very high in New York. The Knicks were coached by Pat Riley who was already the #1 winningest coach in NBA playoff history! New York was led by Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Charles Smith, Doc Rivers (yes THAT Doc Rivers), Anthony Mason, and John Starks. While the Pacers were led by Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Detlef Schrempf, Dale Davis, and Pooh Richardson. New York entered the playoffs as the Eastern Conference #1 seed and the #1 defensive team in the NBA, while Reggie Miller led the NBA in 3-point FGs made. At this time, the first round of the NBA playoffs was a best out of five series, and the Knicks led two games to one, making this Game 4 a possible series-clincher for New York. And despite Reggie Miller's 33 points, the Knicks would pull out a 109-100 victory to move on to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Even though the Knicks won the series 3-1, everyone could see that the Pacers were coming. And nobody knew it at the time, but this first round series between the two teams would begin a stretch where they would meet in the playoffs an amazing 6 out of 8 years! - a playoff meeting every season from 1993 to 2000 except two! Playoff match ups in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, and 2000 - and all were memorable!
