A Little history on the Hunt Bros. Circus:
Charles T. Hunt Sr. "Mr Circus" was bon in Kingston, N.Y. August of 1873. In 1892 at age 19 he started his first circus with partners W. C. brainard and Eugene Feralto. Brainard was the business manager, Freralto was the circus strongman and Hunt did a tight wire, juggling and roman rings.
Hunt Bros. moved on 30 trucks and showed the north eastern United States.
The Show became the oldest circus owned and operated by the same family.
Mr. Circus:
For many years friends and acquaintances of Charles T. Hunt have been urging him to write a book about his experiences with the circus. Finally in 1853 Mr. Hunt {Known as Mr Circus} wrote his story of MR CIRCUS. A simple told of success and failure, heartaches and laughter, thrills etc. It is a story of 63 years in one of the most beloved circus in the United States.
