Rare MCM Jan Beranek For Skrdlovice Art Glass Bowl 10"

Beautiful high quality art glass made by Jan Beranek in the famous Skrdlovice art house.

Jan Beránek was born in Polevsko near Nový Bor. He trained as a glassmaker with his father Emanuel Beránek at the glassworks in Škrdlovice, where he also worked continuously from 1948 until 1987.

Sculpture has gorgeous blue and green hues in a wave like rippling flowing look.

Impressive work of art weighing 3.5 lbs.

Piece measures 10 inches long, 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall.

Sculpture is in very good condition only minor scratches on the base from prior use.
