Plant opening is 2 3/4 by one and 3/4 with of overall piece is 3 1/2. There appears to be one chip at the front right bottom. In my opinion, it actually looks like it was made that way. Or it happened during production. It doesn’t actually look like a chip. It looks like it wasn’t dipped all the way. Paint has that aged crackle effect. Wonderful item.
