The Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT is an all terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks. Cooper offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The model enhances the versatile terrain traction. The optimized tread elements effectively increase the tire’s soft, loose, and uneven terrain and on-road grip. This optimized footprint is able to provide the necessary biting edges, in order to effectively increase its traction and forward motion. As a result, the tire can securely perform through deep mud and loose dirt. Additionally, this footprint is also kept clean. Mud and snow are unable to block surface contact, while stone retention is also effectively resisted. In this manner, the tire guarantees great on- and off-road performance.

Great controllability is ensured with this model, even during its year-round, various terrain applications. The tread design boosts the terrain surface contact throughout the tire’s performance. This enables the model to upgrade steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire ensures the driver’s full control over the vehicle on various terrain surfaces.

Severe winter weather grip is also guaranteed in this manner. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions, dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
