The Crossmax AT-1 is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Crossmax offers a 50,000 treadwear warranty with this model.

Maintaining road contact with the ideal tread design helps to increase the tire’s controllability. The aggressive tread pattern maintains constant surface contact during the performance. It increases the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes quicker and more accurate to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering is upgraded as well, thanks to the wide shoulder blocks and their constant surface contact. As a result, the driver has full control over the vehicle, offering a safe drive.

The tire utilizes its structure and tread design to increase load capacity and prevent damage. The steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load pressure affecting the model. The strengthened structure prevents the tire from deforming during its performance, enabling it to upgrade the load-carrying capacity. The structure also helps prevent external damage. This avoids cuts, punctures, and impact damage, which may shorten the tire’s service life. Also, the ideal tread design and its self-cleaning nature eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, before they can drill into the tread and damage the tire’s casing. The tread’s siping and groove placement manage to reduce road noise levels heard in the vehicle’s cabin. These tread elements channel airwaves through the tire’s footprint, without allowing them to come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise are not generated and they don’t reach the vehicle’s cabin during the tire’s performance. This results in a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

The Crossmax AT-1 manages to increase its all terrain performance. The aggressive tread design and the durable rubber compound ensure great on-road and soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. The optimized tread design ensures additional sideway biting edges, increasing its deep mud and loose dirt performance. Additionally, the tread design features mud and stone ejectors that keep the footprint clean. Mud and snow do not block surface contact, while stone retention is effectively prevented.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
