OVERVIEW

The Samson GL266D is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tread design and all season compound improve the tread life. The solid shoulder ribs and the stabilized tread elements enable the tire's even pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations across the tire's surface. The durable compound enhances the tread life as well. The wear-resistant rubber elements prevent premature wear. This combination enables the tire to improve the service life and the usability.

The tread pattern increases the controllability. The solid shoulder ribs maintain the surface contact throughout the drive, which enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The constant surface contact ensures the driver's full control over the vehicle, ensuring a safer driving experience.

The GL266D upgrades the load durability and the self-cleaning tread design. The stronger construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the pressure, which boosts the load and driving durability. As the tire does not deform, the model manages to increase the load capacity. The self-cleaning tread prevents stone retention and keeps the footprint clean. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
