vintage Fender bass case, has some wear to it, dust/scuffs the works, this bass case was modified inside and the neck piece was taken out and a different one was added in, I still tried it out with a bass and it did close, the alteration unfortunately did make many new screw holes in the case. In addition there are also many additional screw holes and screws that are no suppose to be there, I tried to picture them all but I ran out of pics, there are at least 15 non original holes. The back and some sides looks like it may or may not have some sort of gloss put on it, it feels and looks a little different. The latches do work, still holds a bass, there is also an addiitonal red felt inside by the head as well, I believe these modifications were done to help secure it for a custom bass, however I can not speak for some of the additional screw holes .
