HARRY POTTER
HEDWIG – Harry Potter’s snowy owl. Hedwig was an eleventh birthday gift from
Rubeus Hagrid.
DOBBY – A house elf employed by the Malfoy family until Harry Potter freed
him.
BASILISK – Known as the King of Serpents, this ancient creature resided in the
dungeons at Hogwarts.
HUNGARIAN HORNTAIL – The most dangerous of all dragons defeated by Harry in the Tri-Wizard
Tournament.
UKRANIAN IRONBELLY – The dragon that guarded the oldest and deepest vaults at Hogwarts
Bank.
BUCKBEAK – A Hippogriff who lived with Hagrid.
He participated in the Battle of Hogwarts.
DEMENTOR – A wraithlike Dark Creature considered the foulest creature in the
Wizarding World, employed as prison guards at Azkaban.
FAWKES – Albus Dumbledore’s companion and defender, this highly intelligent
male phoenix had healing tears.
NAGINI – Voldemort’s evil snake, killed by Neville Longbottom at the Battle of
Hogwarts. Nagini was the last Horcrux to
be destroyed.
GRINGOTTS GOBLIN – Gringotts Wizarding Bank was run by these goblins.
CROOKSHANKS – Hermione Granger’s pet cat who frequently targeted Scabbers, Ron’s
pet rat.
TROLL – The mountain troll let loose in the corridors of Hogwarts by
Professor Quirrell.
FLUFFY – The giant 3-headed dog that guarded the entrance to the Chamber of
Secrets.
SCABBERS – Ron Weasley’s pet rat.
Scabbers was animagus of Peter Pettigrew.
CORNISH PIXIE – A small electric blue mischievous flying pixie about 8” tall.
ARAGOG – The giant talking spider who lived deep inside the Forbidden Forest.
MANDRAKE – A plant with special healing powers.
When pulled out of its pot, its screams could kill.
GRINDYLOW – A water demon that inhabited the Black Lake at Hogwarts.
FANTASTIC BEASTS
NIFFLER - A fluffy, snouted
creature attracted to shiny things.
BOWTRUCKLE - A stick-like creature
that serves as a tree guardian and is well camouflaged in its natural habitat.
DEMIGUISE - A peaceful magical
beast that can turn invisible and foresee the future. Resembling a cross
between a sloth and an ape
with large,
black eyes and long, silky hair.
FWOOPER - A magical African bird with brightly-coloured
feathers which was in Newt Scamander’s suitcase when he travelled to New York.
THUNDERBIRD - A close relative of the Phoenix, the
Thunderbird can create storms as it flies and is highly sensitive to
danger.
OCCAMY - A plumed, two-legged winged creature with a serpentine body. Can
be aggressive particularly when defending its eggs
which have the purest
softest silver shells.

Each mystery cube comes with a removable background scene.
