Remove the locked nut and the fixing ring from the fitting body.
Push the end of the garden expandable hose through the nut, the fixing ring, then over the end of the fitting firmly.
Push the fitting into hose, withholding the hose and retighten the nut.
(The connector body can turn with the nut when retightening the nut due to the auto-swivel-360°-thread design. Tight the male connector and the female connector together first, it can stop the body turning.)
