beautiful dial with Tsarevich Dmitry - Tsarevich Dmitry Ivanovich - Prince of Uglich, the youngest son of Ivan the Terrible by Maria Feodorovna Nagaya, his sixth or seventh wife. He lived only eight years, but the political crisis, largely associated with his mysterious death, continued for at least 22 years after his death
The earliest depiction of Tsarevich Dmitry, killed on May 15, 1591 in Uglich, as a symbol of Uglich dates back to November 13, 1727
In June 1728, the Supreme Privy Council issued a decree on the introduction of a new model of regimental banners with the state and city coats of arms. On March 8, 1730, new coats of arms for regimental banners were approved. The coat of arms of the Uglich regiment in the register under number 38 had the following description: "opposite the new one, Tsarevich Prince Dmitry in royal attire, princely hat with a cross, knife in his right hand, lamb under the bosom of his left hand, red field, golden attire and hat"
