OVERVIEW

The Lionhart Lionclaw ATX2 is an all terrain, all weather tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The tire offers exceptional all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed pattern and the all weather tire compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements find firm grip in all weather, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures to ensure a safer performance. The wide circumferential grooves and open shoulder design prevents hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and excellent all weather traction ensures a safer year round driving experience.

The model guarantees a secure off-road performance as well. The staggered tread blocks, open shoulder design, sidewall pattern and extra siping detail upgrade the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction greatly. In this manner, the model has superb on and off-road performance, as its tread elements find firm grip on all road and terrain surface conditions. The staggered tread blocks also maintain a clean footprint by cleaning out mud and snow and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. The constantly clean footprint keeps the tire's road contact at all times, while also preventing stone retention from harming the tire's casing. As a result, the tire promotes a safer all terrain performance.

The tread design improves the tire's controllability. The center tread block placement increases the tire's constant road contact to improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability, while the shoulder tread blocks boost the cornering ability and power. The maintained road contact upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires, while they are in motion. The shoulder tread blocks, with the detailed siping design, increases the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface during cornering and maneuvering to ensure a secure performance.

The Lionclaw ATX2 offers a longer lasting tread life. The optimized tire footprint manages to equally spread out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the entire tread area. The evenly distributed driving pressure avoids the possibility of uneven wear formations across the entire tread area, lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
