OVERVIEW

The Radar Renegade A/T5 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some commercial van sizes available. Radar offers a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty with this tire model.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the symmetric tread design, with the optimal siping detail, enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures and prevents weather damage, while the tread elements firmly grip the road surface throughout the year. The wide grooves and open shoulder design actively disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and eliminate snow stuck between the tread elements. As a result, the tire received its three mountain peak and snowflake symbol, which indicates its capability of conquering the most severe winter weather.

The tread design also improves the all terrain performance. The large, staggered tread blocks, wide grooves, open shoulder design and staggered shoulder blocks boost the soft, loose and uneven terrain surface traction. The tread elements firmly grip the road and terrain surface to ensure a safer driving experience. The staggered shoulder tread blocks improve the soft and loose terrain traction, preventing the tire from being stuck in deep mud. The wide grooves and staggered tread elements maintain a clean footprint by ejecting rocks and mud out from the footprint with the Stone Ejecting Technology. This prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing, while promoting exceptional traction on all terrain surfaces.

The tire features a wide footprint, which keeps its road and terrain surface contact at all times. this upgrades the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability, making the model easier to control. In other words, it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the tire, while improving the steering response time and accuracy. The better controllability enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather and on all terrain conditions. The wider footprint also manages to lengthen the tread life. Its constant contact evenly distributes the driving pressure. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability, making the model more cost efficient.

The Renegade A/T5 provides great durability. Its reinforced steel belt internal structure upgrades the load and driving durability. The strengthened construction prevents the deformation of the tire's optimal shape under the driving and load pressure affecting the tire. As a result, the tire can carry and withstand heavy loads with ease.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
