NOTE: This is a split shaft version so the split shaft type. This does not easily take the metal knobs that require an allen key to tighten, more suited to the plastic push on standard strat knobs.
Fender haven't suppled any technical info or measurements but I've measured this myself and can say that you'll need around 28mm 'cavity' depth under the scratchplate to fit this. The actual switch assembly itself is around 26mm deep but allowing for a washer I'd say you need at least 28mm clearance.
