The piece is silver plated brass and has a brass stem.  

The piece is from 1920 by Bernard Rice's Sons, INC and Silver plated by Apollo Studio.

The piece is in great condition with no dents but has some tarnishing.

The lidded apple is 3 3/8 inches wide and about 4 1/2 inches tall.

This is a very unique piece.
