These mosaic tiles are hand cut from recycled china dishes. Hand painted with water based thermo harden porcelain paint, triple coated and double gazed, for a durable waterproof finish that can stand up to un-sanded grout. Perfect tesserae for the mosaic artist and crafter for your next arts crafts or DIY project.
The tiles in this set varies from approximately 1/2" to 1", some larger, some smaller. See quarter in photograph for an idea of individual tile size. Actual coverage will depend on the size of the grout spacing you prefer.
Cut from stoneware or china dishes, the thickness varies from approximately 1/8" to 1/4". No thick heels or footers, all will lay flat.
DEAR CUSTOMER: I usually don't count the number of tiles in a set. The number of tiles doesn't really mean much because the size and shape of tiles vary so widely. Coverage is what matters. I sell by coverage. This set contains at least 280 grams of various sizes and
shapes of tiles and will cover approximately 1/3 square foot.
