The front panel hosts four premium SSL preamps, each featuring 48V phantom power, a high-pass filter, a five-segment LED meter and a classic SSL gain knob. A “Legacy 4K” button on each channel provides a slight high-frequency boost and finely-tuned harmonic distortion for an edgier sound inspired by SSL 4000 Series consoles. Monitor controls include a main monitor level knob and two headphone volume knobs, as well as three user-assignable buttons that can be used for talkback, monitor switching and more. Premium AD/DA converters provide 32-bit, 192 Hz quality for incredibly high-resolution recording and playback.

EXTENSIVE ONBOARD I/O

In addition to bringing SSL sound to your desktop in high resolution, the SSL 12’s variety of I/O makes it adaptable enough to suit anyone from a synth-based solo artist to an acoustic duo or even a small band. Two switchable headphone/line outputs and four line-level TRS outputs provide separate monitoring for four people, each with individual cue mixes, talkback and near-zero latency thanks to the SSL 360 monitoring software. Five-pin MIDI I/O and DC-coupled analog CV outputs give you plenty of options for controlling synths and effects. An ADAT optical port provides up to eight extra inputs for expanding your setup with an extra bank of preamps. Finally, USB loopback allows you to record sound from your computer easily, a plus for podcasters and streamers.

Shipping Policy

Free ground shipping to the lower 48 states Via FedEx. All of our items ship via FedEx. On checkout, it may look like you are selecting a UPS shipping method, but the item will be shipped via the equivalent FedEx method.

Import Duties and Tax

Since import taxes and/or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States may apply, you (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.

Undeliverable/Rejected Package

If your package was rejected by your local Customs Bureau or the shipment could not be delivered and was returned to Vintage King Audio for any reason, we are not responsible for the shipping costs.

Free Extended Warranty

All new items that Vintage King carries are subject to our FREE extended warranty protection. Basically, if the manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on your product, then you are covered under the same warranty terms for a total of 2 years from the time of initial shipment. Likewise, if the manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty, then you receive a total of 6 years of coverage when purchased through Vintage King. We add 1 year to your standard manufacturer's warranty period, FREE of charge, whatever the manufacturer's warranty period may be.

Even though you may have paid shipping, taxes or duty on your original order, it is IMPORTANT to understand that your government may impose duties and taxes for warranty items or replacement items damaged during shipment from the United States for the new order. Vintage King offers an industry-leading level of technical service and warranty support on our used and vintage items. Our used item warranty periods are as follows:

Microphones – 1 Year (excluding capsules, tubes, and ribbon elements)
Speakers – 1 Year (excluding drivers)
Digital Outboard Gear – 30 Days

Return Policy

We do our best to help you choose the perfect gear, but if you don't love it in the first 30 days after receipt, please contact us through eBay for a return authorization.
