Description of specimen. Limy green color prehnite over an Anhydrite host rock. What is an epimorph? Geologic term for a weathered or dissolved hole or cavity in any host rock (this one is anhydrite) being later filled or covered by a later dissimilar mineral. (The last 3 pictures show the small cavity) Prehnite in this specimen. Found at the Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey. (ex. Meixner's collection) I do NOT know if Mr. Meixner collected this himself or purchased it for his collection.
