Miguel Montero game-worn catcher's leg guard, signed and given to a fan in 2006 the day Miggy was promoted from the Double-A Smokies to the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders. The Smokies were an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks at the time.

A native of Caracas, Venezuela, two-time MLB All-Star Miguel Angel Montero Fernandez was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001, reaching the Major Leagues with that team in 2006. He played for the Diamondbacks through the 2014 season, subsequently playing for the Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals.
